All procedures are performed by Dr Alan Evans. Miranda residents can rest assured that they are in very capable hands. Dr Evans has over 20 years of experience as an ENT surgeon in Miranda. He has a special focus on rhinoplasty and has personally helped over a thousand patients to revise the aesthetics of their noses, working with the angles and shape of the individual’s face to create a flawless and natural look. In addition, Dr Evans is adept at performing non-surgical cosmetic facial treatments such as dermal fillers and wrinkle injections to help eradicate any tell-tale frown lines that appear as we age. Laser skin resurfacing scar treatment – This is a treatment that Dr Evans became interested in and further developed when working at Shire Cosmetic Medicine in Sydney.
It has only recently been introduced into Australia and as such we are the first Miranda laser clinic to provide it. Treatment involves the use of a powerful but precise, ablative laser, designed to rehabilitate unsightly scars quicker, and more effectively.
The Lumenis SCAAR FX delivers targeted bursts of high energy at lower densities. This improves deep contracted lesions by quickly restoring natural collagen. In doing so, it maximises cosmetic results, minimises thermal damage and greatly reduces treatment time.
Functional/aesthetic rhinoplasty – Dr Evans can carry out rhinoplasty (nasal surgery) to deliver outstanding functional and aesthetic results. It can be performed to change any unfortunate genetic consequences such as a birth defect but also, Dr Evans regularly carries out rhinoplasties (nose jobs) in the event of an injury or to improve a patient’s nasal breathing.
